This workshop will be useful to researchers who currently receive NIH funding or are applying for funding in the near future, and staff who support NIH-funded researchers.

NIH has recently made significant changes to the Data Management and Sharing Plan format. The new format is simpler but important details are still driven by the kinds of data your project will collect.

We’ll work through the creation of a plan, and address some common questions and issues that researchers are encountering. These include:

• Converting an existing plan to the new format

• Repository selection

• Addressing limitations on sharing
